INGREDIENTS
Bakers Strawberry Wafers
White Chocolate to decorate
Strawberries 250g
Sugar 15ml
Vanilla Ice Cream 350ml
Milk 125ml
Bakers Strawberry Whirls
Bakers Choice Assorted Biscuits
METHOD
To make the Strawberry Wafer candy canes, first make a candy cane template with a piece of paper then place this over the wafer and cut the candy cane shape carefully with a sharp knife. If you can find a similarly sized candy cane cookie cutter you can use that instead. Melt the white chocolate and pipe diagonal stripes on the wafers to resemble candy cane. I used the diagonal embossed lines on the wafer as a guide and then piped the white chocolate on every second line.
To make the strawberry milkshake, remove the tops of the strawberries, then roughly chop and place them in a bowl with the sugar. Blitz until smooth, then strain through a sieve into a clean bowl.
In a blender, mix the milk, ice cream and blitzed strawberries until smooth and pour into glasses. Top with a spoon of ice cream and a few chopped and crumbled Strawberry Whirls.
Enjoy with a selection of Bakers Choice Assorted biscuits and the Strawberry Wafer candy canes.
